Shades of Blue : Cocktail Attire | Uniform #4

00:10

This outfit is very different to something I'd usually wear, but when I found this gorgeous watercolour print symmetrical midi skirt at the markets a few weeks back, I knew that it was a piece that I wanted to style for a more formal occasion. The skirt is by the brand 'Mia' and has a gorgeous symmetrical water colour print in beautiful summery shades of blue and purple on a stark white fabric. I love the simple slit at the front of the skirt as it breaks up the look a little and makes it that little bit more edgy. I paired it with a simple navy high neck crop top that I got in a pack of 2 from ASOS (find it here). With shoes, I wore these GLORIOUS white strappy heels from Betts ( called the 'Maggie Heels') and used my thrifted zara office tote knock off bag which I adore.
Jewellery wise, I just wore a simple deer head necklace that I also picked up from the market for 50 cents and matched that with some simple white statement studs from Diva.

I wish I could wear a skirt like this but I've finally learned that those kind of styles just aren't the most flattering on me! You pull it off so well though!
