✦Sequined Velvet✦ | Uniform #12

A few weeks ago this awesome skirt arrived in the mail from ASOS (link to it here!) and I fell in love. This is something very different for me as I tend to reach for my fit and flare styled midi skirts, however this fun black column maxi skirt with a thigh slit was so fun to style and super comfy to wear as well. It's made out of a stretch jersey material which hugs your body perfectly however I would recommend sizing down one size from what you usually wear.

I paired the skirt with a sweet purple velvet sequined crop which I got at the markets a while ago and this was my first time wearing it as I always found it quite hard to style. I think it looks great with this skirt as there is no need for any tucking in which prevents any weird bumps showing up since it is a tight skirt. The sequin design also adds an element of fun and dimension to an otherwise simple outfit.
To go with that top, I wore my chunky velvet boots from h&m (no longer available online) to give me some much needed extra height.

As for accessories, I wore my plain black fedora styled hat from dotti which I got a few years ago (not online but black hats are everywhere nowadays!) and my trusty thrifted black square shoulder bag.

ps: my hair was curled with the 25mm wand from the 'Irresistable Me Sapphire 8 in 1 CurlingWand' which I have a full review on here :)\

I hope you are all having a wonderful day!
